I would not push solid wood drawers for kitchen cabinetry. I can make drawers (dovetailed or doweled) much faster from ply. I can rip, groove and cut to length a sheet of drawer parts in 30 minutes.

17/02/2010 · I’m working on plans for a bedroom dresser and chest-of-drawers. Would it be better to use plywood for the drawer sides or solid wood? I figure plywood would be less prone to warping but figured I’d get some input from you guys first.::::::::
