28/03/2008 · Best Answer: Pardon the unintended insult, but if you have wooden worktops you'll need to be a bit of a scrubber because you're going to be having to do an awful lot of it to keep them clean and germ-free - and of course, they'll show up every mark from hot pans and sharp knives.
